Wimbledon is celebrating its 100th birthday next year, so you can be sure they’ll be making a big old racket. Want to be part of that? Well, you can, as the ballot for one of the great annual events in the sporting calendar has returned.
It’s always an ace old time on the home of grass court tennis, but given that extra incentive to head over to SW19 in 2024, you’ll be glad to know that you still have time to sign up to the Wimbledon ballot, which runs until October 10 and will provide the chance to bag tickets for day access on Centre Court, as well as Courts 1, 2 or 3.

All applicants must ensure that they are registered to a free myWIMBLEDON account to be in with a chance to secure the hottest seats between July 1 – July 14, 2024, when Carlos Alcaraz and Markéta Vondroušová kick off their singles title defences.
Tickets cost up to £250 for a spot watching the final on Centre Court, but a Court 3 space on the first few days will be available for £50 – and you’ll have access to any of the games on courts 4-18!
Sally Bolton, Chief Executive of the All England Club, commented: “While so much about The Championships has evolved during the last 100 years, the tradition of holding the Wimbledon Public Ballot for tickets endures and remains a unique element of our approach to ticketing.
“Following record interest this year, it’s now time to look ahead to The Championships 2024 and we encourage all fans to ensure they enter the Ballot by Tuesday, 10 October to be in with a chance of joining us here at SW19 next year.”
Last year’s ballot saw the highest number of hopefuls attempting to get a seat by the courts, and you’d bet good money that in their 100th year, interest will be at an all-time high once more.
